With OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free eBooks, audiobooks, and more from Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library's digital collection. All you need to get started is an internet connection and a valid, eligible library card and pin number.
This service is available for free to Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library tax payers (residents of Attica Township, Imlay Township, and Imlay City.) If you are not a resident of this library district, check with your home library to see if they participate in the Overdrive service, as you may be able to get access that way.
Patrons may have up to 12 items checked out through Overdrive/Libby at any one time, for no total monthly cap.

Hoopla is a digital library of over 500,000 ebooks, audiobooks, comics, music albums, and movies. It has a simple sign-up and easy-to-use interface. There are no "hold list" waits to borrow popular movies, TV shows, albums or audiobooks. And hoopla digital’s automatic return feature eliminates late fees.
Ruth Hughes Library card holders from our district (Imlay City, Imlay Township, and Attica Township) can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com to get started. Currently, users can borrow up to 5 items per month. In order to stay within our budget for hoopla, this figure may change from time to time. When the library's daily budgeted amount has been used up, you may be unable to borrow even if you have borrows left on your account. The daily budget resets at the end of the day; simply try again, or browse and save items to your favorites list to check out later.
