Pizza Pies & Starry Skies @ ATTICA BRANCH
This Summer Reading Program has been stellar and we have a star studded night planned for our finale, with pizza, crafts, and the Seven Ponds Astronomy Club! At 6:00 PM we’ll serve pizza until it runs out; then between 6:30 & 7:00 PM we’ll take advantage of the extended sunshine with Solar Telescopes and a sundial craft. From 7:30 to 8:30 PM we’ll hear two presentations: one about the moon and its phases and another about star constellations. Attendees will be able to make a planisphere (it’s the night sky, in your hands!) followed by evening telescopic observations as soon as it’s dark.
