  • National Kidney Foundation of Michigan

    Diabetes Path

    Helping you take charge of your diabetes! Diabetes PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) is designed to provide skills and tools to help people living with type 2 diabetes live a healthier life. It's a fun, interactive, six week workshop led by certified teachers.  
    The first session will be an informational meeting held on Tuesday, August 8 at 1:00pm. Workshop dates are Tuesday, August 15, 22, 29 and Tuesday, September 5, 12, 19.  All sessions start at 1:00 pm. and go to 3:30 pm. Register by calling 810 724-8043. All sessions are free and snacks will be provided.



     
  • Solar Eclipse Extravaganza

    August 21, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

    Join the fun at a literal once in a lifetime event: for the first time in 38 years, there will be a solar eclipse visible in the United States!
    Zoom over to the Attica Branch to take part in several eclipse related activities and enjoy a great view of the southern sky, where the spectacle will occur.

    *A LIMITED NUMBER of free solar viewing safety glasses will be available at the event WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. The glasses that were being handed out at our front desk, kindly donated by NASA, are now gone, and unfortunately we will not be receiving any more. 

  • Don's Bread Lecture III

    October 25th, 6:30 PM

    Back once again by popular demand; Mr. Don Davenport returns to share with us more of this secret ways and tried-and -true methods of homemade bread baking. Join us for a deliciously educational evening! 
  • Sit and Knit

    September 14, October 12, and November 9, 4:00 PM

    Sit and Knit is a wonderful opportunity for everyone who loves to do needlecrafts to come together to give aid, chat, swap patterns, and connect with other crafters. Knitting is NOT required; if you crochet, cross stitch, or do any other kind of stitching, join us! Everyone from the seasoned pro to the wobbly beginner is welcome.
